The Invisible Constraint

Everything in your business moves at the speed of its narrowest point. For most founders, that point has a name, and it is their own.

24 one-to-one conversations · 4 sessions with your team · USD 12,000 (₹10,00,000)

The founder's dilemma

“Everything goes through me.”

You built something real. The people you hired are capable. And still every question finds its way back to your desk, and every fix you add makes the week heavier rather than lighter.

A tool, a process, a hire: each one sensible, each one a genuine step. But every step was taken inside the valley you were already in. The better place lies beyond a ridge that no local fix can cross, and reaching it means seeing the whole landscape, and accepting that the path rises before it falls. Things usually get harder for a few weeks before they get lighter. I will tell you that in the first week, so that when it happens you recognise it as progress.

You do not need more bandwidth. You need fewer things that can only go through you.

The narrowest point

A business is a pipe. Whatever flows through it (enquiries, decisions, revenue) moves at the speed of its narrowest section. Widen anything else and the flow does not change. In a founder-led business, the narrowest section is usually a person. The queue on your desk is not proof that you are behind. It is evidence of where the constraint lives.

Beneath the constraint

The hardest constraints are rarely processes. They are beliefs the business was quietly built on: that only you can hold the standard; that rest has to be earned; that if you are not carrying it, you have not paid for it.

They are invisible precisely because they are yours. We get to them not by talking in the abstract, but at the moment you hand something over and then quietly take it back. That moment is where the real work is, and it is why this is more than a systems project.

The shape of the work

Six months, held weekly

24

One-to-one conversations, weekly, about ninety minutes. The hour holds whatever is live: a decision, a person, a conversation you are avoiding.

4

Working sessions with your leadership team. The people who carry the work have to be in the room.

~2h

Of your week, most of it work you would be doing anyway, done differently.

Who this is not for

  • Founders looking for a marketing plan or a growth hack. This is about how the business runs, not how it sells.
  • Founders who want someone to run the business for them. You do the work; I make sure it is the right work.
  • Anyone unwilling to involve their team. The four team sessions are part of it, not an extra.
  • Anyone who needs results by next month. The first relief arrives early; the real change takes the six months.

What it costs

USD 12,000 (₹10,00,000)

for the six months

To beginUSD 6,000 (₹5,00,000)
At the end, if it was worth itUSD 6,000 (₹5,00,000)

Half to begin. That half is your commitment, and it matters more than it looks. These conversations will take us both into uncomfortable places. When they do, commitment is what keeps us there. The other half comes at the end, if you feel the work was worth it.

    How to begin

Write to arrange a first conversation.

Tell me a little about what is going on, in as many or as few words as you like. I will write back to find a time for us to talk. That first conversation has no charge, and I will not be selling you anything in it.
