Three months · thirteen conversations

The Invisible Compass

A direction tells you where to go. A compass tells you where you are. Three months of conversation to find the one you have been carrying all along.

13 weekly conversations · 90 minutes each · Online or in person · USD 2,000 (₹1,50,000)

Before anything else

Nobody needs coaching.

You are not broken, and there is nothing here to fix. A person can be perfectly whole and still want to see their own life a little more clearly. That is all this is for.

What happens in the room

Coaching is a conversation in which you begin to see your own thinking. You bring whatever is on your mind that week: a decision, a tiredness, a conversation that went badly, or nothing in particular. I listen closely, ask questions, and tell you what I am hearing.

Slowly, something that was running quietly in the background comes into view: a rule you have been following, a fear dressed up as common sense, a goal that was never really yours. I don't hand you answers. What lasts is the moment you see something for yourself, and once you have seen it, you can't quite unsee it.

Everything said in our conversations stays between us. Not your company, not your family, not the person who referred you. You decide what to bring, and what to leave.

Where people usually begin

Three familiar places, and an open road

“There's never enough time.”

We look at a real week, not the ideal one, and then at the quiet rules underneath the busyness. If I don't reply quickly, they'll think I'm not serious. Who wrote that rule, and is it still true?

What often shifts: a “no” comes out without the guilt. The weekend starts to feel like a weekend.

“Doing everything well, and running on empty.”

Permission to say it plainly. Then a look at what keeps you running: being the dependable one, the belief that rest has to be earned.

What often shifts: the tiredness gets a name. Energy returns, first in small places. Monday stops feeling heavy.

“The goals keep moving, and I keep feeling behind.”

We look at the goals themselves: when they were set, by whom, and what reaching them was supposed to prove. Then at the scoreboard you never chose to be measured on.

What often shifts: goals become lighter, or clearer, or both. Ambition without the sting.

The open road.

Some people arrive without a problem at all, only a feeling they can't name, or curiosity about their own life. For them we don't set a route. We begin wherever you are this week and follow what turns up.

Most people who begin on one of the three paths find themselves here somewhere in the middle.

Underneath all three there is often one quiet belief: that you have to earn your place. Three months is long enough to see it clearly, and seeing it changes how tightly it holds you.

Is this the right time?

It may not be, and that's alright.

  • If you are going through a crisis, a deep grief, or something that feels like depression, a doctor or therapist is the right first call. I am glad to help you find one.
  • If you would like someone to tell you exactly what to do, a consultant or a mentor will serve you better.
  • If someone else wants you to do this more than you do, wait until it is yours.
  • If ninety minutes a week genuinely can't be found right now, nothing is lost by waiting.

The practical part

USD 2,000 (₹1,50,000)

for the three months

  • Thirteen conversations, once a week, ninety minutes each.
  • Online or in person: the choice is yours, depending on what suits your life.
  • In India, the fee can be paid as ₹50,000 a month across the three months.
  • One fee, the same for everyone. Nothing is added later.

How to begin

Write to arrange a first conversation.

Tell me a little about what is going on, in as many or as few words as you like. I will write back to find a time for us to talk. That first conversation has no charge, and I will not be selling you anything in it.
